If You Don't Share, Then Get Off The Playground.
Received a phone call a little while ago from a buyer who wanted to see a home that is on the MLSLI site. Of course I said yes.
Then I'm asked this: "Are you sure you can?" Now I'm feeling like a dog with her head tilted and a deer in the headlights all at once. I responded, "the home is on the MLS and any agent can show it to you." <silence> Hello, is this thing on? lol. Yes, I said that.
The buyer proceeded to tell me that they were told they could only BUY the house through the listing agent.
There is absolutely no truth to that statement. If it's on the MLS any agent can show that home.
