If your shed is 10x10 or no more than 100 square feet, then you do not need a building permit. You can't have more than 2 sheds per lot. All sheds must meet lot are occupancy requirements and the following setbacks:
- Zone A - 2 feet from the side and rear property lines and 50 feet from the front property line.
- Zone B & C - 2 feet from the side and rear property lines and 40 feet from the front property line.
A shed larger than 10x10 or 100 square feet requires a building permit and must meet the following setbacks:
- Zone A - 10 feet from the side and rear property lines and 50 feet from the front property line.
- Zone B - 8 feet from the side and rear property lines and 40 feet from the front property line.
- Zone C - 6 feet from the side and rear property lines and 40 feet from the front property line.
