The Perfect Deal
This is how one of my listings sold which was priced right:
Buyer's Agent: "Hi Jackie. This is Jane from ABC Realty. I have an offer of $xxxx".
Me: "Ok Jane. Let me call my homeowner and present it."
Me to Homeowner: "Hi, John Doe. I have a reasonable offer. It is $xxxx. The buyer is very solid. Excellent credit and job history. They are pre-qualified above your asking price. "Jackie, I will meet the buyer halfway".
Me to Buyer's Agent: "Hi Jane. My homeowner said if your buyer can go up 1/2 way, they will go down halfway".
Buyer's Agent: "Ok. Let me call my buyer."
Two minutes later......................
Buyer's Agent: "Hi Jackie. We have a deal!"
This all took place in 10 minutes.
