West Babylon NY Sold Homes Analysis 1/1/10 - 10/31/10
15 homes sold in West Babylon for the month of October 2010. There were no short sales and 1 REO property sold. The REO sold for $112,000 but needs a ton of work! It was on the market for 45 days. Good. We need these properties to move. Once it's fixed up, it will sell for what other homes in the area are selling for. The highest priced home sold for $550,000 and was on the market for 90 days. It is new construction.
The sold prices of homes in West Babylon for 2010 so far are all over the place. The average sold price in West Babylon for 2009 was $303,281. The average sold price so far for West Babylon for 2010 is 291,109. Based on these averages, the market has not come down that much. That is a good thing.
It will be interesting to see what the West Babylon NY real estate market will be in 2011. Let's hope next year will be the start of a real estate recovery for West Babylon NY!
