Blogging For Business Is An Oxymoron!
We all know blogging for business is a must in today's real estate market. Getting the market reports, mortgage advice, staging ideas, our personal joys/sorrows, and other real estate related news out there to show our future clients and customers just who we really are.
You blog for a year or two with hardly any results but you keep going because you know it will kick in sooner or later. You know this because you are smart <come on, you know you are> and see the value in blogging. Either way, you don't give up because you enjoy it so much.
Then the day comes where you get business from it. So much business that you find you don't have time to write even one post a day like you used to. You miss it but servicing your clients and customers and being with your family comes first and so does sleep. With little sleep you will become Ms. Cranky-Pants. Trust me, just ask my husband, lol. My husband has the patience of a Saint and is very supportive as is the rest of my family.
Then you get the bright idea of getting up at 4 a.m. every day just so you make sure you can fit commenting in since you've been slacking in that department. Try that for a week and see how lovely you will be.
I am now ok about not being able to do it all. Super-Agent is not for me. Believe me, I've tried it. I need my sleep so I can be ready to go each morning in order to help my clients and customers by day, and be with my family by night.
Funny how blogging for business is an Oxymoron but because of it, my business is thriving!
