Bob's Discount Furniture Review - Farmingdale NY - Awesome Experience!
It was time for us to get a new sofa and loveseat. Hubby and I love recliners so we knew that is what we had to get. We decided to go to Bob's Discount Furniture located on Route 110 in Farmingdale.
The sales people at Bob's do not cling to you like a velcro doll. They say Hi and that is that.
We spy a nice chocolate colored couch and loveseat:
Both ends recline on both pieces. For us that is a plus since we only had 2 ends recline with our old set. Yep, we gotta have it!
The total cost was $1,302.38 That includes tax, delivery and "No Goof" protection. We are covered for food or beverage stains including wine. Stains from pet and human bodily fluids (do NOT go there!). Stains from grass and grease. Stains from ballpoint pen ink and marker.
Stains from gum, nail polish and nail polish remover. Stains from cosmetics, lipstick and crayon. Rips, tears, cuts, burns and puncture. This includes if your dog or cat rips the furniture! Frames, springs and mechanism failure. This part is covered after the 1 year manufacturer warranty is over.
Our sales person, Michael Simone, was very helpful. Before we decided on the "Goof Proof" warranty, he explained everything to us leaving no stone unturned. We purchased this set on Monday 11/22. Michael asked us do we want it delivered Saturday. I asked what date and he said, "THIS Saturday". Huh? You serious? He was serious. Woohoo! No waiting for weeks on end and having delivery postponed a few times like our last experience with another furniture company that is now out of business.
I know we would have easily paid $2,000 elsewhere. I know because we price shop to death.
Michael gave us a "Green" Furniture Care Kit:
Eco-Friendly Wood Polish and Upholstery Stain Remover. Safe for kids and pets.
All in all I can say that our experience with Bob's Discount Furniture was literally 100% error-free. Our delivery guys were great too! They were in and out and were very nice!
Bob really means it when he says, "I've got you covered!"
We will most certainly buy from Bob's again.
Now if only Bob would sell carpet....
