A task force has decided for us that women in their 40's shouldn't get routine mammograms because it's harmful.
Women in their 50's should only get one every 2 years because it's harmful.
A representative from the task force is a woman! And she's tripping over her words left and right on Anderson Cooper 360.
A doctor is saying that NO ONE should make recommendations on our behalf and he's a man.
My sister-In-Law's Mom, just had a double mastectomy a few weeks ago. She would be dead if it weren't for getting a mammography once a year since she had breast cancer 18 years ago. She's in her early 50's now and has to get heavy doses of Chemo as a preventative measure to make sure the cancer gets killed.
I have this to say:
STOP MESSING WITH OUR TA-TAS AND OUR LIVES!!!!!
