Driving Around The Town of Babylon Is Getting Dangerous!
In one week I've almost been hit 14 times! Most of them would have been head on. Most have been on residential streets in Lindenhurst and West Babylon.
One guy was on his cell phone and came over onto my side of the street. Another instance a woman was putting on her make-up AND on her cell phone! Your unique talents will kill someone!
The rest were blowing red lights and stop signs. Come on people, get with it!
Just this morning I was driving my son to school and someone decides to blow a stop sign. If I didn't see him, my son would have been hit. Now that I can't tolerate!
There have been accidents all over the place. More than usual. Just this morning I was posting a 55 & over market report and heard, "screech, screech, bang, bang". What a shocker. Another accident on Little East Neck Road! That makes for twice this week and it's only Wednesday.
I headed over to the 7-11 on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon and saw the mess. The 2 cars are seriously damaged and from what I could see, no one was hurt thankfully.
On my way back, I stop at the intersection at Little East Neck Road and Arnold Avenue over by the Salvation Army, since there was a car heading southbound and a driver driving a white BMW almost rear-ended me! He was on his cell phone.
Are any of you aware that being on your cell phone while driving can kill someone? It's the same as drunk driving. You don't do that so why are many of you driving with your cell phones planted to your ear? Ever hear of a Blue Tooth? Use them or don't use your cell phone at all!
As far as putting make-up on while driving, as I stated above, your unique talents will kill someone!
Whether there are kids in the car or all adults, we are all precious cargo!
