My Mom's Last Hurrah................
No, she is fine. Friday was her birthday. She turned the big 69. Hard for me to believe that she is officially in her 70th year:

My Aunt and my Son
And there was cake! No birthday gathering is complete until you have cake. Mom wanted me to make a red velvet cake which I happily did.
My Mom goes to the gym at least 5 days a week. That is 5 more than what I do. She watches my nephews 3 days a week and works nights 5 days a week. She's been through it all and still manages to have a great attitude. I love my Mom. At the rate she is going, she will be around a long time. She better be at least. Her birthday gathering was fun and we had a lot of laughs like always.
Hard to imagine not that long ago, she was driving the big rigs to California and back. Hardly saw her. I'm glad she is not doing that now. We would all be missing out and so would she.
I am already planning her 70th birthday party!
