What Is Better Than Karma? Free Karma! 
Free Karma is a website where you can monitor your credit score for FREE. It's only one score you can view but at least it gives you an idea as to where you are with your credit.
When you sign up, they will ask the following:
- Your email address
- Create a password.
- Home address.
- Security Question. Make sure to pick a hard one!
- Contact preferences. You can opt-out of future emails from them if you choose to.
They will ask you for your SS# and birthday too. They will also ask you 3 questions about what is on your credit report just to verify who you are.
After you sign up, you will be sent an email with a link to complete the registration process.
They also have a Credit Report Card tab. This is where they give you a letter score. Below that they explain what certain things affect your credit score.
The offer tips to show you how to increase your credit score, mortgage help, and credit card advice. They even have a blog on their site.
I would have to say that FreeKarma.com is the best free credit score site I've seen.
