Happy Thanksgiving! Get Those Cameras Ready!
Thanksgiving is a day where we all get together. I look forward to just being with my family and knowing how lucky I am.
Tomorrow morning I start the day off with watching the Macy's Parade. Love it!
My camera will be ready for tomorrow afternoon. I am big on taking photos during the holidays because it's important to me. I love having new photos of my son, nephews and the rest of my family. I make a huge collage and replace the one from last year on my wall. The old one remains behind the new one.
Then we have our tradition with my Aunt and Mom and myself doing the dishes. Hearing them reminisce about their childhood is priceless. They talk about them and my Uncle (he passed away 10 years ago), and the things they got away with as kids. Oh the laughs we will have! That is one of the best parts of Thanksgiving for me. We laugh and we cry. We all miss Uncle Freddie.
Then we talk about Grandma. She passed away when I was 12. We were very close and I still miss her and always will. She was the best Grandma a little girl could have. She did everything for everyone and had the greatest sense of humor. I still have a gold cross she gave me when I was Baptized. I'm amazed at how she put up with 4 kids that pulled the craziest things!
