Spring Is The Essence of Renewal!
Long Island had a very long Winter this year. It started in October and even now it's cooler out than normal. The sun is not out and looks like rain.................again. You know what they say, "April showers bring May flowers!" Yeah, well, April is over so bring on the flowers and warmer weather!
This morning I was sitting on my deck enjoying a nice cup of hot tea. Seeing the trees in bloom and hearing our feathery friends singing, and watching the squirrels romp from tree to tree playing with each other. Yes, Spring is here!
I enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. It has a calming effect and helps me start my day off on the right track giving me a positive frame of mind.

In a few weeks, I get to plant Impatients with my Mom! Can't wait for that!
