If I Do Not Take A Vacation, YOU Will Pay For It!
We went on vacation to Montauk Point, NY this past week and I had no idea how much I needed it.
I realized how much I've been working for the last 11 months and barely taking a day off.
I was feeling pulled from all sides. I'm a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and a Realtor® to sellers and buyers.
Even with all the stress I somehow maintained my composure and patience for almost a year.
I mainly neglected myself and took care of everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I love my personal and professional life and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
This vacation taught me that life is short and I need to enjoy it more. If I do not, then everyone else will suffer for it including myself.
Even today I went fluke fishing out of Captree in Babylon, NY with my Mom and Son. Everyone on the boat were catching them but all of them were under 21" long so that meant throw them back. I did catch a 4 pound Sea Bass and ended up winning the pool of $84.00!
We all need to take "me" time. If we do not, everyone else will pay for it including ourselves.
