West Babylon Sold Homes Two homes sold last week. One home on Herzel Blvd sold for $246,500 and was on the market for 230 days. It was not a short sale. It was an Estate sale.
The other home located on 9th Street in West Babylon sold for $330,000 and was on the market for 52 days. It is an Expanded Cape and in Diamond condition, meaning it needed nothing. Just move in condition and just add your own decorating touches. Also, the list price to sold price ratio: 1.5% This means that the buyer couldn't get a steal. When a home is priced correctly it will sell for close to asking price and it will sell in under 90 days.
West Babylon Homes For Sale: Four homes came onto the market last week. Prices range from $$329,900 to $449,500. One is in the North Babylon School District. Three are in the West Babylon School District. One home is a short sale and the rest are regular resales.
Currently, there are 165 homes on the market in West Babylon. 47 of them are short sales and there are six REO properties for sale. 36% of the homes that are on the market in West Babylon NY are short sales.
