What Are Miracles?
The single parent that works 6 days a week, gets an education and still finds time to be a Mom or Dad.
The cancer patient that was told they have 3 months to live and lives to tell about it 20 years later.
Most of the military men and women that are fighting to keep us safe, come home safe and sound.
The parents of a special needs child who are told their son or daughter is borderlining functional, but ends up graduating from college.
Children that are in challenged neighborhoods that grow up drug-free, go to college and get good paying jobs.
The gang member that has the guts to get out of the gang and get their lives in order.
The people that free themselves from public assistance and support themselves and their children.
The child that grew up in an alcoholic household never becoming an alcoholic themselves.
The battered woman who left the abuser and not giving in to their threats.
The person who gives money and/or their time to help others and not expecting anything in return.
The preemie babies that look like they won't make it but do.
Miracles are not a what. They are a who. People are miracles.
