Jackie: There was an Easter Egg hunt that my Dad's Legion Hall would hold. They hid the eggs in a big field. All of the eggs had dollar values marked on them. So when you brought the eggs you found to the head Easter Egg Hunt Person, you got whatever amount you found in CASH. Gotta love that.
Hi Chris Ann, Now that is cool and I'm sure the kids had a riot! Gotta love that is right. I think there should be that kind of egg hunt for adults too :)
Jackie, What a fun line up, leave it to you. I feel like I grew up at White Post Farms when they used to sell every fresh vegatable you could want...Wonderful list of places to go and I've been to many!
Hi Carole, I love white post farms! They are the best. Farms out our way on Long Island are a dying breed. My Mom remembers moving to Massapequa when she was a kid and it was all farmland. They had a chicken farm! I can't picture most of Long Island ever being just farmland.
Jackie Very appropriately colored. Easter egg hunts are very popular here as well
Hi Karen, I like purple. It's so...........Springish, lol. I love egg hunts. I did that for my son and love doing it with my nephews now since they are little :)
Jackie- What a great local list of egg hunts you have. The Easter bunny is going to be really busy.
Hi Ellie, thank you! The Easter bunn is always busy this time of year :)
