I have to say that this is my second buyer who bought an REO property and the experiences have been positive. No major issues.
With REO properties, a deep title search must be done. It is called a title chain. Research needs to be done thoroughly to make sure the buyer doesn't have problems in the future when it comes to owning the home. You don't want a former owner coming to the door stating they still own the home. This is why hiring a real estate attorney who is experienced with REO properties is essential.

Hi Bryan, I thought so too. But, I had a feeling it would appraise for at least $340K. Hearing $350K was even better. They are going to fix it up on the inside since they want it the way they want it. New kitchen in the works as we speak. My buyers said they will have me over for dinner once they are done.

Hi Chris Ann, Actually, it wasn't, lol. I'm just glad they are happy. I doubt I will ever see a great deal like this again. The home just needed esthetics even though they are going to redo the kitchen. Very rare to see an REO property in this great of condition. Thank you Chris Ann!
